Jheenga Masala


Ingredients
  • Prawns ½ kg cleaned
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Onion chopped 2
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves 20
  • Chili powder 1 ½ tsp heaped
  • Coriander powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Crushed red pepper ½ tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Dry fenugreek leaves 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes chopped 2
  • Green chilies chopped 6
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Method
  • Heat ¼ cup oil fry 2 chopped onion light golden, add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, also add 2 chopped tomatoes with 1 ½ tsp chili powder, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1 ½ tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp crushed red pepper and fry well till oil comes on top, add ½ kg prawns with 6 chopped green chilies, 2 tbsp coriander leaves, 1 tsp dry fenugreek leaves and simmer for few minutes. Lastly add ginger slice and 20 curry leaves.
