Hara Chicken

INGREDIENTS:
1 Chicken cut into 8 pieces
3 Onions,Sliced finely and fried crisp
1/2 cup beaten Curds
1Tbspn Ginger-Garlic paste
1/2 cup Kaju
2pieces dalchini(patta)
4-5 Cloves(loung)
8 Peppercorns(kalimirchi)
4Cardamoms(elaichi)
1Tspn Cumin Powder(zeera)
2Tspn Corinader Powder
10-15 Green chilles
1 bunch Coriander
1 bunch Mint Leaves
1/2 Tspn Turmeric powder
Oil,water as required
Salt to taste

METHOD:

  1. Grind to a fine powder Dalchini,Cloves,Cardamoms,Peppercorns,cumin and coriander.
  2. Grind to a fine paste(separetely) Green chilles,Corinader leaves,Mint leaves,cashewnuts and fried onions.this makes ur hara masala
  3. Mix together the haramasala with Ginger-Garlic paste along with beaten curds.put the chicken pieces in this mixture and marinade for 30mins.
  4. Now heat oil in a pan,add chicken pieces and fry till oil starts leaving the sides.add Salt,Turmeric Powder and cook for a while.Add 1/2 cup of warm water and cook till chicken becomes tender,add the powdered masalas & Cashewnut paste.Simmer till done.The gravy should be rich and thick.garnish with fresh Coriander leaves.

RECOMMENDED COMBINATION:

Roti,Tomato ka cut,Khatti daal
